Dr. Scott A. Wasserman
Dr. Wasserman has built quite a reputation in the cosmetic
enhancement arena. He is arguably the premier tumescent liposculpture
and fat grafting expert in Arizona. He is a creative pioneer
when it comes to performing less invasive types of aesthetic
procedures. His approach is honest and empathetic with a
focus on thoroughly customizing the work he does.
“When you’re a hammer than everyone becomes
a nail. The key is to factor in all the patients concerns.
Degree of improvement, downtime and cost are all factored
in when I help a patient choose a particular course of action.” he
says.
Dr. Wasserman is credited with bringing the practice of
mesotherapy to Arizona over four years ago. He has personally
performed more thread lift procedures than any other physician
in Arizona. He is also the first physician to practice the
unique long lasting form of fat grafting, called FAMI in
Arizona.
Dr. Wasserman frequently teaches his approach and procedures
to other physicians. He runs a tumescent liposuction workshop
which teaches other doctors how to perform safe effective
liposuction using only local anesthesia.
Dr. Wasserman is originally from New York. He attended medical
school at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Albert
Einstein/Jacobi Hospitals in Bronx, N.Y. becoming a Diplomate
of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1992. Dr. Wasserman
practiced emergency medicine until 1999 when he founded The Scottsdale Cosmetic Health Insitute.
Dr. Wasserman is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic
Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery, and
the American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine. He was
a founding board member of the American Board of Mesotherapy
and the American Society of Mesotherapy.
